Sarah Burkel – Owner – Fitness Instructor

Sarah is the owner and operator of Karate America – Oregon.  As a lifelong fitness enthusiast, she has found martial arts to be the perfect opportunity to share her passion with others.

Mr. Randy Reid – Chief Master Instructor

Mr. Reid is the original founder of Karate America.  He opened the first Karate America location in 1984 at the Westgate Mall in Madison, WI.  He and his elite team of black belts went on to build the largest martial arts organization in the history of Wisconsin.  As a martial arts instructor, Mr. Reid has trained countless national and international champions and is recognized as a top martial arts instructor.

Personally, Mr. Reid was consistently considered one of the top martial arts competitors in the nation and went on to post an impressive 10-0 kickboxing record.  A lifetime martial arts innovator, Mr. Reid networks with the nation’s finest martial artists to ensure that Karate America stays at the forefront of martial arts programming.

Mr. Steve Godfriaux – Master Instructor

Mr. Godriaux is considered one of the top martial arts instructors to have ever graduated out of the Karate America system.  He has developed thousands of top flight martial arts students over a career that has lasted two decades.  Mr. G, as he is known to all, also was the coach for the national champion “Team Extreme” martial arts demonstration team.  He brings Energy, passion, and a winning attitude to each and every class he teaches.
